What each plan includes, how Shopify bills it, and what happens to your drawers when you change plans.
The plans
Free, $0, free forever:

How billing works
Shopify bills you, on your regular Shopify invoice, in US dollars. There’s no separate card to enter and no account with us.
- Choose or change a plan from Settings in the app, which opens Shopify’s plan page.
- Basic and Pro start with a 7-day free trial. Shopify decides whether a store is eligible for a trial.
- Annual billing is $200 a year for Basic and $400 a year for Pro, two months free compared with paying monthly. Switching between monthly and annual keeps your plan and everything on it.
Changing plans
Nothing is ever deleted when you move to a smaller plan. What doesn’t fit is paused:
- Drawers over the new limit are turned off. The first drawers that are on, in your Drawers list order, stay on.
- Cards over the new limit, or of a type the plan doesn’t include, are turned off and marked as paused by your plan, with the plan they need.
- Targeting, schedules and a drawer’s own design are kept but not used, so drawers show on every page and in your store’s design.
- Translations are kept and stop reaching the storefront below Pro.
A banner on the Drawers page says what was paused. You can still edit everything and choose which drawers and cards are live, up to what the plan allows at once.
Upgrade again and everything the plan paused turns back on, up to the new plan’s limits, with nothing to redo. Anything you turned off yourself stays off.
A plan change is picked up as soon as you return from Shopify’s plan page, and every night for changes made anywhere else, such as a canceled plan or an ended trial.
Your analytics history
Each plan shows a window of history: 30 days on Free, 12 months on Basic, all time on Pro. Free keeps 90 days but shows 30, so upgrading shows two more months that were there all along. After a downgrade, history is kept at your old plan’s window for 90 days before the smaller window applies.
